Paint Correction
Precision multi-stage machine polishing to permanently eliminate scratches, swirls, and defects for a mirror-like finish.

Bring back the ultimate depth, clarity, and reflection to your car's paintwork with our professional Paint Correction services. Over time, improper washing, road debris, automatic car washes, and UV rays create micro-scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, and water spots that dull your vehicle's clear coat. Our paint correction process permanently removes these defects rather than just filling them in. Utilizing advanced rotary and dual-action polishers, specialized compounds, and digital paint depth gauges, we safely restore your paint to a better-than-factory showroom shine.
The benefits of paint correction are profound. It transforms the appearance of your vehicle, making even older cars look brand new. By restoring the paintwork, you significantly increase the market resale value of your vehicle. Paint correction is also a crucial pre-requisite for ceramic coatings—removing all imperfections ensures that the ceramic coating bonds directly to pure, flawless clear coat, locking in a perfect finish and extending the coating's longevity.

Why Paint Correction?
Paint correction is the specialized process of permanently restoring and rejuvenating the paintwork of a vehicle. Through the elimination of surface imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, bird dropping etching, acid rain spots, and holograms, we level the clear coat microscopically. This allows light to reflect perfectly from the paint, producing an incredibly deep, glossy, and vibrant mirror finish.

our work process
1. Thorough Wash & Paint Decontamination
We perform a meticulous hand wash, followed by iron decontamination and clay bar treatments. This removes all embedded environmental contaminants (rail dust, tar, overspray) that could cause scratches during polishing.
2. Digital Paint Depth Measurement
We use ultrasonic digital paint depth gauges to measure the thickness of the clear coat across all panels. This ensures we safely determine how much clear coat is available for correction, preserving the paint's integrity.
3. Multi-Stage Machine Polishing
Depending on the level of correction chosen, we perform a heavy compounding cut to remove deep scratches and swirls, followed by a medium polish to remove compounding haze, and a final ultra-fine jewel polish to maximize gloss and clarity.
4. IPA Wipe Down & Protection
We wipe down the entire vehicle with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to remove all polishing oils and residues. This reveals the true corrected paintwork. Finally, we apply a high-grade sealant, wax, or prepare the surface for a ceramic coating.

general questions
What is the difference between polishing/waxing and paint correction?
Polishing or waxing typically uses fillers to temporarily hide light scratches and swirls, which wash away after a few weeks. Paint Correction permanently removes scratches by microscopically leveling the clear coat to the depth of the scratch, completely eliminating the defect.
Will paint correction thin out my car's clear coat?
Paint correction does remove a microscopic layer of clear coat (typically less than 2-3 microns). When performed by our trained professionals using paint depth gauges, it is completely safe and leaves plenty of clear coat to protect the vehicle's paint for its lifetime.
Should I get paint correction before ceramic coating?
Yes, absolutely. A ceramic coating is a semi-permanent glass layer that will lock in whatever is underneath. If you apply it over scratches, you will lock them in. Performing paint correction first ensures the paint is flawless before sealing it with ceramic protection.
Can paint correction remove deep scratches that go down to the primer?
No. If a scratch has penetrated through the clear coat and color coat down to the primer or metal (meaning you can catch your fingernail in it), it cannot be fully corrected by machine polishing alone. These require touch-up paint or localized wet sanding first.
How do swirl marks get on my car in the first place?
The number one cause of swirl marks is improper washing and drying techniques. Automatic car washes with dirty brushes, using household sponges, or wiping the car with dirty towels drag abrasive dirt particles across the paint, creating thousands of microscopic circular scratches.
